PDF and Excel Formats

The 2013 Bike Trail and Events Calendar is now available for FREE from about-bicycles.com. This is the 3rd edition of the about-bicycles.com calendar and is available in PDF and Excel formats  for easy viewing, downloading and printing. 

This years calender includes Scenic Bike Trail Photos, from bike trails in the Chicagoland area, US Holidays, Cycling Event Photos, from Bike The Drive and the Tour of Elk Grove and Cycling Event Dates.

The format is designed to fit One Month per Page on Regular 8.5x11 Inch Paper when printed.

The PDF version of the 2013 Bike Trail and Events Calendar (small size) is easy to print, view and/or download. You can print one page/month at a time (on standard 8.5x11 inch paper) or you can print the entire year and bind the months together with whatever stationary products work best for you.

The PDF version will calculate the initial display size based on your previous settings and your browser size. To view the entire Calendar and the Photos easily you may want to change the display size (at the top) to 50%.

The EXCEL version of the 2013 Bike Trail and Events Calendar can be modified/customized. You can add/change events, change the photos, etc., but this version will be a little more difficult to work with if you are not familiar with MS Excel.

To download these calendars, click on the links, select > File > Save As and save the file to your PC.

  • 2013 Bike Trail Photo Calendar in Excel Format - Click on this link to download the bike trail photo calendar in 97-2003 Excel Format  with no macros. This is a 2013 calendar with bike trail photos that can be printed as is or you can change the photos with photos of your own. This version will also allow you to add your own events and comments within the calendar grid. There is one Excel tab per month.

The PDF versions of the calendar will be the easiest to download/view and print. The full size PDF version will take a little longer to load or download but will be a higher quality than the small size PDF file.

The Excel version of the calendar file is in and .xls Excel Format (with no macros) in order to be compatible with older and newer versions of Excel. There is one Excel tab per month. (btw: I am a professional programmer so this is a quality program).

For those of you who are proficient with Excel and would like very flexible Excel based calendar with VBA code that can be used to generate a calendar (with holidays and your own personal events), I have made the Free Generic calendar generator program available from last years (2011) Bike Calendar page.
