First off, the Lifecore 1050RBs Recumbent is compact ~ at 44 inches in length ~ and this bike is high quality ~ Lifecore specializes in light commercial and high-end in-home stationary bikes and fitness equipment sold online and at specialty B&M stores.

This bike also has a Self-Powered Generator allowing you to store and use the bike almost anywhere (a backup AC power supply is also included), Heart Rate Control (HRC) programs (which allows you to maintain your target heart rate automatically), a 300 lb user weight capacity and a Lifetime Warranty on the frame.

Next, add the Fully Adjustable Seat. The seat on this bike adjusts in more positions than any other recumbent bike that I am aware of allowing you to adjust the riding position to a perfect fit. The seat has the usual forward and backward adjustment (rising higher as you move back) but then it also has a tilt adjustment on the entire seat and a smooth gas powered adjustment to move the seat back closer or farther away.

I have mentioned the key features of this fitness bike above but there are some other nice features that should also be mentioned.

You also get the 7 window console and the more advanced heart-rate monitoring (including the Heart Rate Control Programs) built into the console which allows you to use the hard grip HR monitors or the wireless chest strap which is included with this bike and you can also control the bikes resistance levels with the thumb controls on the bikes handlebars.

The Lifecore 1050RBs Recumbent is compact, comfortable and sturdy fitness bike that comes with more features than you get with other high-end residential and commercial grade stationary bikes.

The Compact Size, Self-Powered Generator and comfortable, contoured Mesh Seat Back are excellent features and are included with all Lifecore Recumbent Bikes.

The Fully Adjustable Seat is one of the biggest upgrades to this bike and it does allow you to fine tune the seat to a very comfortable and productive position. Note: the 3 levers under the seat on the photo to the left are the seat adjustment levers (you can click on the photo for a larger view).

When I tested this bike I found the seat to be easily adjustable and very comfortable. The bike was completely stable and the console was easy to read and easy to use with the Quick Program Set Keys and large function keys.

The maximum resistance level provides enough resistance for a good workout and it was easy to cycle through the other 16 resistance levels with the large function keys.

I would recommend the Lifecore 1050RBs when you are looking for a high quality, comfortable and highly adjustable, self-powered and compact Recumbent Bike for good aerobic workout.
