Horizon P8000 Indoor Cycle Review

The Horizon P8000 fitness bike is one of the higher end Indoor Cycles in the Horizon 2010 product line. The Horizon P8000 indoor cycle offers high quality commercial grade frame triathlon-style handlebars and club-quality seat with horizontal and vertical adjustments

This is a commercial grade upright club style fitness bike with a micro-adjust resistance brake for major training and workouts. The resistance adjustments are easy but you do not have the console for workout stats (virtual miles, time, speed, etc.) that you will get on other indoor cycles.

Indoor Cycles, including the Horizon P8000, are more similar to traditional bikes, and are used for serious training and workouts and in workout classes.

Horizon P8000 Indoor Cycle and Other Brand Comparisons:

The P8000 is a well built indoor cycle, for serious workouts, easy resistance adjustments and with an excellent warranty. Since this bike is not available online (new), we recommend the Livestrong LS9.9IC Indoor Cycle for serious workouts and training.

The P8000 is an excellent choice for training but if you are more interested in a more casual workout for weight loss and aerobic exercise and want to track your progress on the console then a traditional Upright Stationary Bike will usually be a better choice.
