{"id":528,"date":"2011-05-07T14:32:09","date_gmt":"2011-05-07T19:32:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/about-bicycles.com\/bike-blog\/?p=528"},"modified":"2011-05-07T14:35:50","modified_gmt":"2011-05-07T19:35:50","slug":"2011-best-buy-exercise-bike-updates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/about-bicycles.com\/bike-blog\/?p=528","title":{"rendered":"2011 Best Buy Exercise Bike Updates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Although some of the more serious riders use their exercise bikes and indoor cycles all year long, for many people it&#8217;s \u00a0the time of year that that they move their exercise routines outdoors and the exercise bike shopping season is slowing down quite a bit.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, for those of you who are in the\u00a0market for an exercise bike now,\u00a0many\u00a0of the exercise bikes for sale online are now selling at greatly reduced prices.<\/p>\n<p>OK, so that may not be big news for many of you, what I did want to mention is that I just reviewed the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.about-bicycles.com\/exercise-bike-reviews\/best-exercise-bikes.html\">Best Buy Exercise Bikes page<\/a> on this site and have made some changes to reflect the better prices and more popular exercise bikes for 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Many of the models on the about-bicycles.com <strong>Best Buy Exercise Bike Page<\/strong> are\u00a0still selling at very good prices and are still very popular with the visitors to this site, but there have been some changes that were made for 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the Best Buy changes that have been made for 2011:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong><em>Schwinn Active Series 10<\/em><\/strong> upright bike has been replaced by the <strong><em>Schwinn 120<\/em><\/strong> as the Best Upright Exercise Bike for Under $200.<\/li>\n<li>I have created a new category for the Best Upright &#8211; Indoor Cycle Under $300 and moved the <strong><em>Proform 290 SPX<\/em><\/strong> into this category.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong><em>Schwinn 230 Recumbent<\/em><\/strong> bike has been replaced by the <strong><em>Schwinn 220 Recumbent<\/em><\/strong> in the Best Recumbent Exercise Bike $300-$500 category.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With this being the start of prime riding season, I really want to get out there and check out some of the latest bikes that are out there (online and in the stores) but I have also just reviewed a few more exercise bikes, including the <strong><em>Schwinn A20<\/em><\/strong> and <strong><em>Livestrong LS07.0B<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>One of my good friends, and an expert in fitness equipment, has offered to set up a meeting for me with his contact at Johnson Fitness in Madison, Wis to visit the plant and personally review the Livestrong LS07.0B, since this is where the Livestrong bikes and exercise equipment\u00a0is manufactured.
